On Saturday 30th September, over a dozen willing and able volunteers turned out to help spruce up Hadnall. They tackled jobs around the village including varnishing benches on the village green, refurbishment of the bench outside the church, clearing of ivy from walls around the village hall and clearing pathways in the Ease.
The volunteers then enjoyed some refreshment at the 4C's coffee morning in aid of West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Parish Council Chairman John Harrison, who organised the event, said, "Huge thanks to everyone who volunteered their time, they know who they are!"
Thanks also to Sansaw Estate who have recently sprayed the Bowling Club car park to get rid of the many weeds there.
As a result of all this activity, the village is looking very trim as we enter the autumn and winter months.
If you could help out with similar jobs, why not look out for the next volunteer working party and come and join us?
